SINAO is an American contemporary artist well known on the international scene. Born in 1981 in New York, SINAO is a pseudonym he chose in order to remain anonymous. A street artist, he only appears in public when he wears a particular mask. This is the same mask worn by doctors during the medieval Black Death. His trademark is the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, which he uses to adorn several of his works. His work has been influenced by artists Banksy and Blek Le Rat. A lover of simplicity, he prefers his art to come to life on street materials as well as on canvases chosen by himself. An accomplished street artist belonging to the “Mind The Gap” collective, he has painted his largest murals in European and American capitals, notably with the help of his fellow street artists.
