Maxime Davoust, a passionate sculptor, devoted twelve years to perfecting his art thanks to free courses at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Lyon. In 2021, he was honored with a pewter medal by the Academy of Arts-Sciences and Letters. Maxime Davoust's artistic approach is an ingenious fusion between the classic and the modern. Its goal is to build a bridge between the past and the present. He is inspired by universally recognized antique sculptures as well as famous paintings, which he reinterprets with a touch of Art Deco. By using various materials, colors and formats, Maxime Davoust strives to make art accessible to a large and diverse audience. His work embodies the heritage of classical art while providing a contemporary perspective, creating works that transcend time and arouse varied emotions in those who contemplate them.
