JIDEKA (Jocelyne DESCHAMPS-KUS)
Jocelyne DESCHAMPS-KUS embodies the spirit of contemporary French painting. Her artistic journey is marked by her fearless exploration of difficult subjects, guided by her unwavering conviction that every work of art must radiate luminosity and innovation. With a solid academic foundation, Jocelyne holds a degree in advertising design from the Beaux-Arts de Lyon. Her thirst for painting is manifested in her desire to draw the thoughts and emotions of everyday people, as well as in her exploration of current events in all their beauty and darkness. Through her works, she addresses diverse themes such as global warming, exodus and overpopulation, thus translating everyday life and real life onto the canvas. Her passion for colors and subtle humor shine through in each of her creations. After having worked extensively in charcoal and ink, Jocelyne now paints exclusively in acrylic, sometimes including a structure gel to highlight elements. Her creative process begins with multiple sketches, which she then transposes onto the canvas to color them. Her commitment to her craft is reflected in her regular exhibitions in France and internationally. Her art has been recognized in international galleries and art fairs, including in France, Switzerland and Belgium, such as the Art Innsbruck - Salon International d'Art and the Foire Internationale d'Art de Bruxelles. In addition, her works have been featured in renowned publications such as Art & Design Review, Circle Quarterly Art Review Magazine and Spotlight Magazine, cementing her place on the contemporary art scene.
